Description
Cuisine: American, Seafood
$$$ ($15-25 per entrée)
Feature: Outdoor Dining, Waterfront
Situated on Captiva Island and the waters of Roosevelt Channel, the restaurant overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway, the tranquil waters of Pine Island Sound, and the pristine beauty of Buck Key.
The Green Flash is easily navigable by boat and is located southwest of Marker 38 on the Intracoastal Waterway.
The quality of the cuisine is very good, and the prices reasonable for Captiva. Start with oysters Rockefeller or shrimp bisque. Both are house specialties, as is the garlicky grouper “café de Paris” and the salmon with a dill-accented béarnaise sauce (Frommer’s)
